BroHamM’s music will keep you dancing with their exceptional musicianship, distinctive rich and soulful vocal harmonies, or listen to the creative way they arrange and perform songs.

On stage, they have fun and keep you entertained by engaging with their audience. It becomes infectious, as BroHamM keeps the energy upbeat and lively with songs from the old school Motown Philly Classic Soul to the new upbeat Funky R&B songs of today and yesterday that everybody knows.


Cascadia Groove

Cascadia Groove is a group of highly experienced musicians playing a mix of original funky, danceable jazz tunes along with unique versions of memorable covers from Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, The Average White Band, Herbie Hancock, Aretha Franklin, and many others that fit this exciting musical genre.

The group has been a Featured Artist at the Lake Chelan Wine and Jazz Festival, Bake's Place Bar and Bistro, Anacortes Arts Festival, and many other music festivals and events in the Greater Puget Sound area, performing their upbeat original material and stylized contemporary covers that have a unique, signature crossover sound.

2022 Washington Blues Society Hall of Fame inductee, CD Woodbury is “the NW’s best kept secret” as an internationally recognized rising star of the Pacific NW blues scene with his work as singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Two studio albums, “Monday Night!” and "World's Gone Crazy" charted on international independent radio. CD Woodbury has thirteen Best of the Blues awards from the Seattle based Washington Blues Society including performer of the year, songwriter, NW recording, new blues band, and is (at the time of this writing) the only six time winner for electric blues guitar.

Seattle native Danny Quintero has shared the stage with many high-profile musicians. His keen ear for subtle nuances of the Sinatra school of 'Bel Canto' singing-articulation, phrasing, dynamics, and breath control have brought a fresh, likable, and personalized approach to the Great American Songbook. He makes appearances on radio stations and at Jazz clubs throughout the Pacific Northwest, and has performed with the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra at Benaroya Hall.


Darren Motamedy

Sax legend Darren Motamedy returns this year to grace our Lake Chelan shores with his remarkable talent! This incredible musician songwriter and educator has eleven popular albums. Hear him once and you’ll know why he’s an icon in smooth jazz circles and a fan favorite for over 35 years.

11 Smooth Jazz Albums since 1989: First Generation, Square One, Dangerously Close, Peace, The Best of Darren Motamedy, It’s All Good, Relax Your Mind, “Intimate”, “Don’t Cha Know”, Gruv Horn, and finally...”All About Love”, in which each song is written with purpose and played thoughtfully and soulfully.


Dmitri Matheny

Winner of NW Jazz Instrumentalist of the Year honors in the Seattle Earshot Golden Ear Awards, flugelhornist Dmitri Matheny has been lauded as “one of the most emotionally expressive improvisers of his generation” (International Review of Music). An honors graduate of Berklee College of Music, Dmitri Matheny vaulted onto the jazz scene in the 1990s as the protégé of jazz legend Art Farmer.

Since then he has garnered critical acclaim and a loyal international following, releasing twelve CDs and touring extensively throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia. The San Francisco Chronicle calls Matheny “one of the jazz world’s most talented horn players.”

DoctorfunK was established in 1995 and has set the standard for new soul music in the Pacific Northwest. Echoing the legendary passion of famed horn band Tower of Power and that "Bay Area Sound," this 10-piece ensemble has maintained the tradition and more.


Ellensburg Big Band

The Ellensburg Big Band has been delighting concert audiences and swing dancers alike since 2011 playing classic and contemporary big band jazz. Having performed all over the region as well as at jazz festivals in Japan and New Zealand, they are thrilled to return to The Lake Chelan Wine and Jazz Festival! Featuring exceptional soloists and singers, the majority of the 19-member group are alumni of the acclaimed Central Washington University jazz program. Harkening back to the era of the wonderful swing dance bands of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s, you’ll get nods to Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, and Frank Sinatra, as well as a variety of current stars like Michael Buble and Harry Connick Jr.


eugenie jones

Eugenie Jones is an award-winning Seattle-based singer-songwriter with a worldwide fan base. She is known as one of today’s most evocative and evolving artists of our times.

Thierry De Clemensat of Paris Move magazine called her "...one of the most beautiful voices in the United States, part of that lineage of vocalists in jazz who dazzle with their sheer talent, elevating everything they touch." George Kanzler with New York’s Hot House Jazz magazine wrote about her latest album, “Eugenie,” saying, With a warm, husky vibrato, the range of material she convincingly and comfortably covers is striking.“

Her live performances bring together new takes on vintage jazz, her own jazzed soul tunes, and classic soul & pop. Critics say she is a warm, engaging performer with an electric stage presence. She is known for her "smoke & satin" vocal style, with All About Jazz’s C. Michael Bailey wrote, “her vocals have few peers, and her songwriting is beautifully grown up and real.”


Francesco Crosara

Pianist & composer Francesco Crosara is making a significant impact on the jazz scene internationally with a passion for creating and sharing innovative and soulful music. Born in Italy and steeped in the traditions of both European classical music and American jazz, his original compositions meld an impressive mix of jazz improvisation, a romantic vein from his Conservatory training in Rome, bouncy lyrical expression, along with strong Latin influences. Mentored by Chick Corea, his main jazz piano influences include Keith Jarrett, Herbie Hancock, and Bill Evans. Crosara stands among the European-bred jazz greats, performing over the years with the likes of Lionel Hampton, Freddie Hubbard, Roy Hargrove, Richie Cole, Bobby Shew, Ira Sullivan, Von Freeman, Bruce Forman, Barbara Morrison, Lilian Terry, John Stowell, and more. Crosara has produced six jazz albums internationally. His latest work, "Circular Motion", released by Seattle's own Origin Records, was nominated for an Earshot Jazz Golden Ear Award. "A pianist who originally hails from Italy, Crosara is well-versed in bop lore, and his delicate flow might indicate a debt to Bill Evans." - Down Beat Magazine


Greta Matassa

Greta Matassa won wide acclaim in the Pacific Northwest; 8 times, the readers of Earshot, the Seattle Jazz magazine, have voted her the best jazz vocalist in the Northwest, including in 2021!

Her 40-year career has been a whirlwind of exciting opportunities and experiences. She was inducted into the Seattle Jazz Hall of Fame in 2014. Over the last 20 years, she has become established as one of the greatest jazz singers of her time. Working with top jazz musicians in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York. In 2016 She was featured with bassist John Clayton’s group in a centennial tribute to Ella Fitzgerald.

She has recorded 11 CD’s. Her latest release “Portrait” on Origin Records is receiving rave reviews.


hit explosion

Voted “Best Live Performance Cover Band” by the Northwest Music Awards Association, Hit Explosion performs authentic, classic 70’s and 80’s dance hits as well as hits from today,  combining exceptional musicianship with an electrifying presentation.

The group sets itself apart by its diverse and talented lineup, allowing for impressive reproductions of the original hits from the 70s, 80s, and beyond.


Jake Bergevin

Song stylist, trumpeter, bandleader, and educator Jake Bergevin has recorded two albums as leader and has been a featured artist with diverse groups such as the Spokane Symphony, Seattle Women’s Jazz Orchestra, the Tacoma Symphony, the Spokane Jazz Orchestra, and the Usual Suspects Big Band and many many more. 

Leading groups like the Javatown Swing Orchestra and the Jazz Punishments Big Band, he celebrates the American Popular Song with many of Seattle’s top players as well as up-and-coming young lions.

Lake Chelan Jazz Band

The Lake Chelan Jazz Band has been performing in the Chelan area for the past 13 years. Their style is popular standards, and maybe a few surprises! 

All five musicians are local and contribute in various ways to our beautiful community.


mark lewis quartet

Saxophonist and flutist Mark Lewis has enlivened jazz scenes from Seattle and San Francisco to Rotterdam and Paris and has created a vast and intensely stimulating body of music, including more than 1,700 compositions. 

He has a new album of original work just out, “Sunlight Shines In,” and he’ll be performing selections at the festival. His last album, “Naked Animals,” was chosen in the Cadence Magazine Top 10 Critic’s Poll for 2021 and had been playing on the cable TV Music Choice jazz channel. It earned stellar reviews in English, Dutch and Japanese.


Michael Powers

Michael Powers is a contemporary instrumental guitarist known for powerful performances blending Jazz, Blues, Pop, Latin, Rock and R&B.

What began as therapy after a teenage skateboard injury led him to study Composition and Performance at Cornish College of the Arts, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Powers’ eclectic style, shaped by mentors like Gil Evans, has led him to share billings with legends including Herbie Hancock, Ray Charles, and Gladys Knight. He also played guitar on Sir Mix A Lot’s Platinum Grammy winning “Baby’s Got Back.”

His voice has been favorably compared to many artists, including Chet Baker, Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, Bobby Caldwell, Sam Cooke, and others. After over 40 years of performing, Michael has found his own voice and style, just a synthesis of everything he has listened to, absorbed, and loved!

“Just when you’re sure that the male of the species has virtually disappeared from the realm of quality jazz/pop singing, along comes Michael Winkle to set your mind at ease. He manages to straddle the line between pop and jazz without ever losing his balance!”


stephanie porter

“A long-gigging jazz singer” (excerpt by The Seattle Times), Stephanie Porter has performed at just about every club, festival, arena, and theater in the PNW. She has received an Earshot Golden Ear Award for top vocalist. That evening Earshot's Director mentioned it was the year of "The Peoples Choice."

In the 1990's Stephanie was an early member of Hit Explosion, one of the most popular Dance Party Bands on the West Coast. During that time, the band opened for Chaka Khan, Kansas, Cameo, Michael McDonald, Glenn Frey, and many others.

Stephanie will be joined by her longtime band: Steve Yusen on drums, Nate Parker on bass, and Tony Foster on piano.


Todo es

Todo Es blends Latin Jazz, Brazilian Samba, and Bossa Nova with a distinct twist, drawing influence from legends like Cal Tjader and Charlie Byrd. The band features Rebecca Garcia (vocals), Daniel Miller (guitar), Stephen Yamada-Heidner (vibraphone/steel drum), Dan Hensley (trumpet/flugelhorn), Tor Dietrichson (percussion), Tim Miller (drums), and John Lilley (bass). Their original repertoire fuses Afro-Cuban, Caribbean, and Brazilian rhythms with contemporary improvisation. WARNING: Spontaneous dancing may occur!


The New Triumph

The New Triumph is a multigenerational, multiracial ensemble comprised of some of the best musicians in Seattle's thriving music scene. They draw from these varied perspectives to provide a unique, energetic, and danceable mix of Afro- Latin, Funk, and Jazz. Their inspirations include Snarky Puppy, Herbie Hancock Headhunters, and Irakere.
